STUDENTS faq

At BOLT6, we're always looking for students who are eager to gain practical experience while completing their studies. Our team fosters an inclusive and flexible environment that allows students to balance their work and academic responsibilities, while also feeling valued as integral members of our team.

This presents a fantastic chance to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in school to real-world projects, while simultaneously acquiring fresh insights and experiences.

Who is eligible for a placement position?

All current students, be it Bachelors, Masters, Phd or bootcamp are welcome to apply to both our programs.

Do you sponsor visas for placement programs?

Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visas for our placement programs and they are reserved for all current UK students.

Are you offering paid placements?

Yes, all placements are paid.

What are placement start dates?

We offer flexible start dates depending on your availability.

How can my application stand out from the crowd?

We appreciate it when people do their research about the company but also the industry we are in. A good cover letter will definitely help you as well as any additional relevant information you submit with your application (examples include projects you worked on during your studies or in your spare time, GitHub profile etc.).

Can I write my Bachelor’s/Master’s thesis at Bolt6?

We are a fast growing start-up and at the moment, we are unable to offer this option.

Do you offer apprenticeship opportunities?

At the moment, we are not offering apprenticeship placements but keep checking our Careers page as this may change soon.
